The team visits M7G-677, a primitive world where no one is over 24 years old, because of ritual suicides they believe keep the Wraith at bay. McKay discovers that they are in fact being protected by an Ancient electromagnetic shield. He takes the ZPM powering it, unwittingly allowing a long-dormant Wraith transmitter to reactivate.

Der "Puddel Jumper One" gerät auf einer Mission in Schwierigkeiten. Wegen eines Defekts ist die Crew gezwungen, auf einem ihr unbekannten Planeten zu landen. Dort treffen Major John Sheppard (Joe Flanigan), Lieutenant Ford (Rainbow Sun Francks), Dr. McKay (David Hewlett) und Teyla (Rachel Luttrell) nur junge Menschen. Offenbar herrscht auf dem Himmelskörper eine solch große Angst vor den Wraith, dass alle Bewohner vor ihrem 25. Geburtstag ihr Leben opfern.
